UPOU puts up exhibit for the National Science and Technology Week and Bañamos Festival
The UPOU, through its Information Office, set up two exhibits on distance education, UPOU, and its degree programs and learning materials.
The first exhibit was put up on 4 August 2004 at the International Rice Research Institute during the National Science and Technology Week-Los Baños Science Community Foundation Celebration. Non-government organizations, teacher-, and farmer-groups viewed the exhibit.
On 15-17 September 2004, UPOU participated in the Tuklas Agham open house exhibits held at the Student Union Building, UP Los Baños. The exhibit was one of the activities conducted in celebration of the Bañamos Festival spearheaded by the Municipal Government of Los Baños. ( L.A. Gelisan, OC)
