The UPOU Constituents led by Chancellor Felix Librero joined the celebration of the 86 th Loyalty Day on 10 October 2004 at the UPLB D.L. Umali Freedom Park . The celebration commemorates the day, 10 October 1918, when the faculty members and employees of the UP College of Agriculture enlisted en mass with the Philippine National Guard to fight for liberty and democracy during the 1st world war.
