UP Centennial Concert at CCP

“PAMANTASANG HIRANG: PAGDIRIWANG NG UNANG DANTAON NG UNIBERSIDAD NG PILIPINAS” is an insightful, entertaining, informative and engrossing musical presentation from the University of the Philippines. It brings together music, song, poetry, language, thought and emotion. It reflects the distinct UP personality that has been molded through one century. Inquisitive, analytical, patriotic…sometimes irreverent perhaps, always fun yet engrossing.

It is juxtaposing the lofty ideals of the oblation and the street smart Isko. The romance of “Cadena de Amor” and the grit of the first quarter storm. The follies and the triumphs, the academic breakthroughs and the social changes in education, the sciences and the arts.

The Centennial concert is an all star-cast, featuring known performers/personalities who are student and alumni of UP. The concert is slated on June 18, 19 and 20 2008, 8:00 PM at the CCP Main Theater.
