BOR approved tuition and miscellaneous fees increase effective First Semester 2008-2009

The University of the Philippines Board of Regents, in its 1230th meeting, has approved the proposed increase in tuition and miscellaneous fees for UPOU incoming graduate and undergraduate students for First Semester 2008-2009. The new tuition fee will be P1,000.00 per unit which applies to
all UPOU new students regardless of client and program type. On the other hand, miscellaneous fees will be P2,000 per semester which includes registration, library, energy and technology support fees.

Continuing students, on the other hand, will continue to enjoy the old rate. With the increase in these fees, UPOU hoped to improve its academic and support services, particularly its online facilities which relies heavily on the use of information and communication technology. (FVSecreto, OUR)
