Nuñez is UPOU's 1st MA in Education graduate
“Confidence in carrying out his task as a teacher. Improved teaching skills. Respect and honor for being a UP scholar.”
Julius Nunez cites these as his gains after pursuing the MA in Education program at the UPOU.
Nuñez enrolled in 2001 and graduated in 2004. He completed his Diploma in Language Studies for Teachers at UPOU in 1998.
Confidence and enthusiasm exude from Nunez as he recalls his UPOU training.
He describes his experience this way: “I find it very good and effective as I was able to fulfill my responsibilities as a student, a teacher, and a family man all at the same time.”
Nunez teaches English 4, Technical Writing, and Journalism at the Bayugan National High School . He was school paper adviser for three years, during which his team qualified at the National level journalism writing conference.
Nunez is encouraging his wife to pursue higher studies through distance education, and by 2005, his wife will be among the new distance learners of UPOU. (Rhonna Marie R. Vereña - FEd)
